Microneedling

Cosmetician makes microneedling, care to the patient using dermapen in a cosmetology salon

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a treatment in which a sterile 16-needle microneedling device is gently guided over the skin, creating controlled microscopic puncture channels. These controlled micro-traumas then stimulate a natural inflammatory or wound-healing response by the body and natural growth factors are released to create fresh collagen. This promotes renewal, repair, and rejuvenation in areas that are treated.Microneedling is not meant to cure skin/hair disease but to improved the appearance of certain concerns. During the treatment, numbing cream is applied to allow for maximum comfort for you.

Each skin response is different and although results may be seen after one procedure, the skin will become cumulatively re-texturized and rejuvenated, minimizing the appearance of ageing, uneven skin tone, uneven texture, imperfections and areas of indentation.

In combination with microneedling, either potent strength actives such as Hyaluronic Acid and/or powerful peptides/vitamins/serums will be used to glide the microneedling device across skin, enabling these to be injected deeper into the skin. These actives or vitamins/serums will depend on your skin and your main concerns.

Microneedling can also be used in combination with your own Platelet-Rich Plasma, which is also known as a "Vampire Facial".
